You might consider the latest custom sneaker we have to show you as something of an enigma; its existence is downright paradoxical. And yet, a ‘Carbon Fiber’ Nike Air Foamposite One makes total sense when you actually see it, this crazy 1of1 job replacing Nike Basketball’s futuristic injected foam with the same featherlight, super-strong stuff that comprises the model’s midfoot support. It’s a particularly fascinating product when you consider the various faux-Foamposite and faux-carbon fiber looks we’ve seen from Nike Sportswear over the past couple years; how would these rank against those NSW releases and the Foamposite series retros that seem to be increasing in frequency?
