T.I.'s "No Mercy" has just hit gold status. Even though Tip has been incarcerated in Arkansas for a probation violation, T.I.'s latest album reached commercial success.
No Mercy sold about 160,000 copies in its first week, placing it #4 on Billboard's Top 200 chart. This accomplishment happend despite mixed negative reviews from critics & very little promotion.
The album was out in stores December 7th, shortly after T.I. had gone back to prison to serve a year-long prison sentence.
